Who should attend?
Anyone who wants to gain First Aid skills to deal with life-threatening conditions. It is suitable for any students, even without prior knowledge. This course is minimum requirement for First Aiders within the UAE.

What will they learn?
Students gain the basic skills and knowledge to deal with emergencies, to save life as well as casualty care. They will gain confidence to use these skills through practical application on themselves and on manikins.

Course Content

• Managing an incident
• Assessing a casualty
• Severe bleeding
• Shock
• Heart Attack
• Unconsciousness
• First casualty examination and Recovery Position
• Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (adult)

Course duration
4 hours in total (1/2 day)

Assessment
Continuous assessment during the course, no written exam; candidates must show competence to apply learned skills promptly, safely and effectively.

Certificate and Validity
Basic Life Support Adult certificate from Safety & Leisure Training Middle East*, valid for 3 years.

Entry requirement
Participants should have Basic English skills. Minimum age: 16 years. For children 10 - 15 years please contact us for further details.
