Emergency First Aid

Who should attend?

The Emergency First Aid course is designed to train individuals and company staff that require appointed person training in basic First aid skills. This course meets recommendations of HSE Health and safety At Work (1981) Regulations for Appointed Persons in the Workplace. It is suitable for any student, even without prior knowledge.

What will they learn?

Students gain the basic skills and knowledge to deal with emergencies, to save life as well as casualty care. They will gain confidence to use these skills through practical application on themselves and on manikins.

Course duration

8 hours in total (1 day)

Assessment

Continuous assessment during the course, no written exam; candidates must show competence to apply learned skills prompt, safe and effective.

Certificate and Validity

Emergency First Aid certificate from First Aid International*, valid for 3 years.

Entry requirement

Participants should have Basic English skills. Minimum age: 16 years.
