Who should attend?
Anyone who has a leadership role within an organisation with responsibility for managing performance in people, giving direction or setting strategy during this time of constant change.
What will they learn?
We will take time to identify and look at the different mindsets that exist within individuals in relation to change of any kind. The opportunity to reflect on questions like what stops us from taking risks and accountability for our own results? Why do we sometimes not speak up for ourselves?
In the next section of the programme we will look at how to put these different mindsets to use in order to become more effective as leaders of people in practical everyday situations, including the theory of “Leadership as Action”. We will be exploring what “leadership” really is and hopefully dispelling the myth that you must have certain personal characteristics or personality traits to be a great leader, rather that we all have the capacity for leadership and that we can access this capacity in a practical and pragmatic way in situations that we all face every day.
Finally we will run a session to practice using coaching skills to increase employee commitment and addressing performance management issues for a positive result.
