Who should attend?
Persons who hold a valid First Aid at Work or lifeguard qualification and want to learn how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). The chances of survival in cases of cardiac arrest fade every minute by about 10%. AEDs are used to restore a normal heart rhythm and have proved to be highly effective when applied as early as possible. Therefore every large facility or public place should have AEDs together with First Aiders who are trained how to use them.
What will they learn?
Students gain skills and knowledge to operate AEDs safely onsite. They will refresh their CPR skills, combine those with the use of an AED and will learn about implications and precautions.
